INTER reportedly tried to lure the coach from Milan but he kindly refused their offer.
Massimiliano Allegri has earned himself a name of one of the best coaches in Italy and is working his way into Europe’s best after winning the Scudetto and the Supercoppa, preventing Inter from winning both.
According to Tuttosport, the very same Inter tried to take Allegri away from Milan. The Turin newspaper claims that the Nerazzurri President Massimo Moratti made a phone call to Allegri earlier this year.
Moratti tried to convince Allegri to lead his Inter in the next term but even though Max’s contract expires at the end of the season, he kindly said ‘No thank you’. Milan have already confirmed that Allegri will stay at Milan, and even though the contract has not been agreed between the parties – it’ll certainly be renewed.
Allegri has received kind words from many people including Arrigo Sacchi and Marcello Lippi for his work.
