Gilardino: De Santis Was Unlucky

The Milan striker defended the referee for the choice to go-ahead with the Ascoli-Milan match.
Alberto Gilardino went back to the Serie A match played by Milan at a water-logged Ascoli pitch.
"The pitch penalized everyone. De Santis was unlucky because he made the ball bounce in the only part in which it was possible to play. The rest of the ground was impracticable."
Gilardino believes that the Rossoneri will return to winning ways soon.
"I’m not worried. Milan will recover already from the match against Siena."
