AS Roma tell AC Milan: £12M cash for Cassano

AS Roma have told AC Milan chiefs they want a straight £12 million cash offer for star striker Antonio Cassano.
Milan and Roma are locked in negotiations this week over Cassano, who refuses to sign a new contract at the capital club and could pen a pre-contract with a rival in January.
Milan doesn't have the £12 million Roma are demanding, but are offering a cash-plus-player swap involving Dario Simic, Johann Vogel and goalkeeper Christian Abbiati.
The Champions League finalists are willing to offer £6 million plus two players in exchange for Cassano.
