DHORASOO: 'Hard decision, I'm leaving the best team in the world'
    7/11/2005
MILAN - Vikash Dhorasoo gave an exclusive interview for uefa.com 'magazine’. The former Rossoneri midfielder said it was difficult for him to leave Milan and join PSG. He said: 'It was a very hard decision. I’m leaving the best team in the world but there were plenty of reasons for me to want to come to Paris - not least because it’s the city near to where I grew up. When I was little we used to drive past the Parc des Princes all the time, so I’m very pleased. I’m lucky enough to be able to combine a lifestyle choice with a sporting one, and now I hope to help PSG achieve great things.' He continued: 'I didn’t want to leave Milan. I was happy there, but towards the end of May my agent told me that PSG were interested. I thought about it a lot and talked with the people close to me and, after that, I did everything I could to make it happen. The officials at Milan did not want to let me go, but they understood my reasons and it’s all finished with a happy ending. I was straight with them and they were the same with me. It wasn’t heated at all.'
