AC Milan are ready to pounce as Villarreal insist they will sell Juan Roman Riquelme in January.
Milan are keen on bringing the Argentina international to the San Siro during the winter market, says Corriere dello Sport.
Referring to Riquelme's performance against Chile on the weekend, Villarreal supremo Juan Manuel Llaneza said: "The great performance of Juan Roman Riquelme against Chile has not surprised us, because we are talking about one of the best players in the world.
"But the time has come to close our relationship, we're thinking of handing him over in January, as long as he is available (fit).
"On the table for now there is nothing, but we know that in December offers will arrive."
