"Here is my first report on CRC. Less then 1 hr.time driving, so this is a first impression. It installed easily without a hiccup. My DFP wheel an Acts-Labs shifter and pedals configured easily also. I turned on my I-tracker and it worked automatically in full vector. I adjusted the graphics on the in game menu page, and had to restart when I changed the screen to 1280X1030X32. Most the graphic goodies were turned on already. I left off the motion blur, and a couple other things. Tha game ran smooth as silk.Tried free race first. Only 3 tracks and 2 cars were available. Went for intermediate difficulty. No car adjustments except for tires were open yet. Had to pause to find view change key. Changed to in car view. Inside car looked very good with working gauges and drivers arms. As I was admirring the sound and the direct9c graphics the three AI cars left me in the dust. Shock!, Surely these physics are greaty improved over the last demo? Or maybe it's just the set-up. No, brakes work way better! I'll have to drive alot more, but these physics feel very very impressive. The road side objects smash and breakoff very realistictly. The tire squeal is also very good. The sound, grahics and scenery are all outstanding. With very good use of direct9c. The force feedback on different road surfaces felt excellent. I then tried the championship mode also in intermediate difficulty. It was on one of the demo tracks that I new fairly well. So with some work and concentration I was able to come in second against three other cars. Which netted me opening more of the game. The AI where very impressive. And they honk thier horn when they want to pass. I'll report more on this game after more experiance, especially with the online play. Thanks for reading
