The Witcher Director's Cut Now Available
Mature content now downloadable for popular RPG.

July 31, 2009 - CD Projekt Red's popular RPG The Witcher appears to be getting even more content. Atari announced that new content would be made available for The Witcher: Enhanced Edition today. Entitled Director's Cut, the new downloadable content adds mature content that was previously only released outside of North America. The Director's Cut is available as a patch and as a full game download from Atari.com and other digital distribution sites. This marks the second update to the Witcher, after the Enhanced Edition, which added more than 5000 lines of re-recorded dialogue, two new adventures and reduced loading times.
The Director's Cut will be available as a free patch for Enhanced Edition owners, in addition to a standalone product available on TheWitcher.com, Steam, Impulse and Direct2Drive. The full download will include the recent 1.5 patch, making the Director's Cut the new definitive version of The Witcher.
No details on a release date yet.
