Cruz missile hits Inter

Inter have been rocked on Tuesday with the news that star striker Julio Cruz will be sidelined for two months.
The in-form Argentine, who is the club’s top scorer with six goals in eight official appearances so far this term, limped off with a knee injury during the 1-0 win over Reggina on Sunday.
The South American underwent extensive scans today which have revealed the seriousness of the problem.
The former Bologna man, who missed the first few weeks of the season with a muscular problem, has a second-degree injury of the internal collateral ligament in his right knee.
It’s expected that the international will need at least eight weeks to regain full fitness and return to the disposal of boss Roberto Mancini.
The Nerazzurri face a crucial week as they host Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday in the Group B Champions League tie and hope to secure qualification with a win.
Inter will then travel to Palermo in a potential Scudetto showdown on Sunday night in what promises to be a real battle.
The Rosanero will be eyeing a victory after their loss at Cagliari allowed Inter to move three points clear at the top of the table.
