I was hoping that I could gather ideas for a patch/update so that I could inform Firaxis on what customers believe will honestly improve the game.
To get the ball rolling I'm going to list some of my own ideas/concerns. If you disagree with any of my points please tell me why I'm wrong .
- Speed up sneaking sequences*
- Speed up third person perspective on sailing*
- Speed up land battles*
- Fix bug in land battles when switching targets for long-range fire.
- Fix clipping issues*
- More intelligent promotion system (i.e, incorporate a system of downgrading rank).
- Better randomization of names - especially with the kidnapper of your
family members or wife/wives *.
- Perhaps add a couple more cutscenes.
- Attack forts.
- Add portable cannon for land battles (which they seem to have
forgotten about).
- Option to remap keys ingame (especially for laptop users).
- Top 10 Pirate list should remain active (so you constantly compete for
top place, even after attaining it).
- Tone down importance of dancing (through popular demand)
- New wildlife - sharks, etc.
*These are what I believe to be the most important issues.
