This includes 'field' activities such as tactics and learning to command the troop in various simulated operational settings, administering and training the troop in barracks (including maintaining armoured vehicles, weaponry and other specialist equipment), and a comprehensive live-firing package, aimed at learning the capabilities and effects of the unit's principal weapons systems, as well as signalling, and driving a Scimitar.
As Troop Leader, Harry will lead a team of around a dozen soldiers carrying out reconnaissance work in a wide variety of operational settings.
