into a true Pioneer DVR-106D
This is a 2 part operation
one to force the drive into safe mode
and then continue to flash the drive to Pioneer F/W 1.05
You then will have a true PIONEER DVR-106D firmware 1.05
From which you can upgrade to any firmware of your choice
Flashing Instructions: Make sure you don't have Intel Application Accelerator
installed. Then run UPGRADE.BAT
You shouldn't have to downgrade if you flash from Windows
