    How do I make a garage?


    Answer
    Although only a driveway is necessary if you want to own a car, a garage is a stylish addition to any home. You can build attached or separate garages and even two-car garages by doubling the Garage components (just make sure you have the space)!

    Choose Build Mode and select the Garage category.
    Choose the Driveway you want to use and place it.
    The Driveway must be able to reach the street with enough space on the left to complete the animation for pulling out of the Driveway. It is often easier to build a Driveway on the left side of your house for this reason.
    Choose the Driveway Extension Piece you would like to use, align it with the Driveway, and place it.
    This piece will be the inside floor of your garage.
    Choose the OpenAuto Garage Door you would like to use and place it between the Driveway and the Driveway Extension Piece.
    This may take a bit of guess-work if your Driveway pieces match, since there is no visible seam.
    Now you may add walls and a roof and design them to match or accent your home.
    You can place your car in the garage by going into Buy Mode and placing your car inside the garage. You cannot place any other items in the driveway/garage space.
