Hello everyone,
Based on the feedback collected by the German Community overnight and a decision made by the Ascaron Patch Review Board, the international version of Patch 1.7 will not go ahead as originally planned. As stated in the news before this, this decision was still pending. The decision was made this morning not to release the patch because of the scale of localisation issues and extensions which need to be implemented as well as the time required to compile a new version, test it and in turn, clear it will for release make the availability of the patch, before Wednesday next week impossible.
Issues found in the German Open Beta will also be addressed as best as possible in order to make the international released open beta better. Although it was planned to release the open beta today, the feedback from the German community has given us a chance to further look into more issues not realised before and improve the network code substantially.
The waiting period might have been extended by a few days but that should make the release even more so worth it.
