Pl: P: I've done a fresh install of F1 2002, GT Racing 2002 and update v1.2 and I get a frozen or locked black / blank screen after the intro movie when launching GTRacing2002.exe
S: Theres a bug when there are no existing player profiles. It supposed to take you to the Player creation page but it doesn't. Download this small zip archive and extract it to your F1 2002\GTR2002Save\ folder. You should then be able to get into the menu and create a player of your own.
