Today I got confirmed by the store where I bought my FIFA 2004 for the Xbox.

There are severe problems with both the PS2 and Xbox Fifa 2004s. It seems that the games are rushed and EA have missed for example several option varieties. All are said to be in the game in the manual but they aren't. Examples:

Xbox (which game is the absolute worst I have ever played, and I am a BIG Fifa fan) :

    Basic Options
    1. No choice where you can choose "game speed"
    2. No choice where you can adjust to "wide" screen on tv.

    Advanced options
    1. No choice if you want the player name under your player or the position.

    Audio
    1. No choice if you want the game sound "from the pitch" or "commentary".

And all of the above is mentioned in the manual, that is, they should be there !! This is close to a catastrofy.

For the PS2 , you can chose "wide", but the rest are also not in there. The PS2 gameplay flows better, because the Xbox version is a tragedy, it basically is hopeless to steer. What is this ?? I am deeply dissapointed.

Will be interesting if they adjust these things to the Gamecube and PC version, they are due in one week from now, here in Sweden.

Today A LOT of people returned their games to the store, and the store mentioned the supplier and EA support Sweden confirmed something is wrong. How serious is not this ?? Will they return, say, 10 000's of games and re do them or... ?

No, right now I fell sad (FIFA 2004 should have been the love of my life) that I will only play the brilliant NHL 2004. And maybe I have to by myself The Pro Evo footie, something I would never have done a year ago, because FIFA 2003 was the best soccer game I've ever played. And I thought it would be "a walk in the parklane" to produce the same game with some improvements, but EA has really not done this well. It hurts to say, but it is the very dark truth.
