    Ennyit találtam összvissz:
It was argued at the time and by historians subsequently, that breaking Enigma shortened the war by 2-4 years. This view was also the conclusion of an episode of the radio programme, ’What If?’ broadcast in April 2003 on BBC Radio 4. This programme considered the counterfactual that the Germans found out that the Allies were breaking Enigma and altered the systems they were using. It was felt that this would have led to the Allies losing the Battle of the Atlantic, preventing the build-up of US troops and resources in Europe so postponing the Allied invasion of France. In an effort to prevent the Soviets dominating Europe, the Americans would then have dropped an atomic bomb on Berlin, though it seems that Dresden, Hamburg or Munich would have been more likely targets.
Átküldhetem a könyvet, bár lehet, nincs sok értelme.
