"I have some pretty big plans for Keep battles that actually includes Keep Doors only being attackable through certain mechanics.
The immediate concern I had is the fear that certain careers (notably MDPS) would just be "standing around". The design accounts for this concern to ensure that all archetypes have viable methods (and fun ones at that!) to further contribute to the battle.
I mentioned in a bug thread about siege damage just the other day - but we're in the process of making siege much more devastating and defensive siege pads replaced with pre-built and very durable siege weaponry. These are just a couple examples on how to improve the ORvR game play (not only for T4, however).
There're a lot of plans in store for the ORvR game that we'll surely be discussing the closer we get to releasing the version."
