Hitler presides over the launching of the Beetle. As the country ramped up for war, every German worker was required to put money aside every week for a Volkswagen or "People's Car", designed by Hitler with the help of Ferdinand Porsche. Millions of marks were collected by the Reich in this way, though not a single VW was ever delivered to a contributor. Hitler did present one to Eva Braun as a birthday present, though it's not certain that she ever learned to drive.
