Test Drive Unlimited 2

Dear Atari Forum Users,

This Monday, September 24, 2012, we will be upgrading and merging http://www.AtariCommunity.com/, http://Forums.Atari.com/, and http://Forums.Testdriveunlimited2.com/. Users may expect up to a 72 hour downtime as a
result of this improvement. When complete, there will be one unified Atari Forum Community and a Single Sign-on across all Atari properties. The webpages for all three locations will still work after the move.

Please take the following actions to ensure access to your account:

Before September 20th:

If you are a New User, register for an account on Atari.com
• Use the same Username, DOB, and email that you use on the forums.

OR

If you have an existing account on Atari.com, please make sure that the Username, DOB, and Email fields are the same in both places.
• We will be matching Usernames and verifying that they are the same user based on email. If email is not available we will attempt a match using DOB and other account information. To ensure things go smoothly you must ensure that your email and username is the same in all locations.
• If no match is available then we will append the letters ‘_PM’ to the end of your username. You will be able to recover your account by clicking Forgot my Password and then you will be able to email support via filling out the support request form on http://support.atari.com/ to request a username change.
OR

If you have a different username on Atari.com than on the forums, the system will use your Atari.com username as the primary one if both usernames have the same Email and append ‘_PM’ to the old forum account and archive that account. You will have to fill out the support request form on http://support.atari.com/ to access the old Forum account in that situation. An email can only be associated with one account at a time. If you want to keep both accounts automatically you will need to use two different emails.

NOTE: The system will consider Atari.com the primary account. If there are duplicate usernames that cannot be matched, the system will take the user with the Atari.com account first over the user with the old forum account. It is extremely important that you update your emails to match in both places.

HOW TO MAKE SURE YOUR INFORMATION MATCHES
If you are a http://forums.testdriveunlimited2.com/ User
1. Register an account on Atari.com by going to Atari.com and clicking ‘Sign Up Free’
2. Log into forums.testdriveunlimited2.com by using your forum account information
3. Click User CP (found on the forum navigation bar above the individual forums)
4. Click Edit Email & Password
5. Click Settings
6. Make sure that the account name (username) matches your Atari.com account information (username).
7. Make sure that the email emails match in both locations. So your atari.com email should be the same as the forum email you use or it will not match.
8. Next, go back to the User CP and then Click Edit Profile
9. Make sure that the Date of Birth information is filled out.

If you are a http://forums.atari.com/ user
1. Register an account on Atari.com by going to Atari.com and clicking ‘Sign Up Free’
2. Go to forums.testdriveunlimited2.com and log in using your forums.atari.com information
3. Follow the directions (starting at step 3) from the forums.testdriveunlimited2.com users information above

If after the merger you are having problems accessing your account please contact support at support.atari.com

Additional Note For Users of TDU 2 PC:

Please note that your TDU 2 PC account username and information is not changing. You will be able to access and change that information via testdriveunlimited2.com after the forum move is complete just like now. However, this will no longer be linked to your forum account.
