A Livorno egy kölcsönszerzõdésrõl folytat tárgyalásokat az AC Milan csapatával, de az olasz kiscsapat elnökének, Aldo Spinellinek az átigazolási idõszak lejárta után már nincs lehetõsége megállapodni Marco Boriello és Lino Marzoratti kölcsönvételérõl.

Boriello jelenleg a Treviso csapatában vendégszerepel, míg a fiatal Marzoratti ebben az évben várhatóan a Milan ifjúsági együttesében fog játszani. Ennek ellenére Spinelli reméli, hogy a következõ szezonra mindkét játékost kölcsön tudja venni.

AC Milan's Seedorf: Time for talking is over

Clarence Seedorf says it's time AC Milan players stopped talking and started producing on the pitch.

Carlo Ancelotti's outfit go into today's clash with Lazio 12 points behind Juve and in desperate need of a morale boost following the midweek Coppa Italia exit at the hands of Palermo and the 1-1 draw in the last league outing against Sampdoria.

"There is little to say and a lot to do," Seedorf said. "We have tried to do more in training in order to turn things around as soon as possible.

"But at this time we are finding it extremely challenging to achieve what we need."

Alberto Gilardino has failed to score in the last four league games while top scorer Andriy Shevchenko has not been able to pull off the same sizzling performances as he did last season.

"In the past few months we haven't had the consistency in terms of results that we did last term," added Seedorf.

"That is what it boils down to, if we look at last year in the first four or five months we played worse but the results nevertheless came our way."

Milan are already focusing all their efforts on solving the problems ahead of their Champions League with Bayern Munich as hopes of the Scudetto are fading.

"Our determination is even stronger now," the Dutchman added.

"We have to try to do well in the league, not only because we are looking to compete for second place but also because it would help us prepare better to our Champions League clash."

ANCELOTTI: 'Maldini could be back following Sunday'

KALADZE: 'We have to work hard'

MILANELLO - Kala Kaladze was present at the press conference after training and said: 'It's a tough time for us, we lost the last game badly. It's disappointing to go out of the Italian Cup and now we have to work hard. That's the only thing we can do. I don't think we are afraid to make mistakes, we are professionals at the highest level and we are never afraid. I repeat, we just have to work hard and we are convinced that we will get back to playing well.'
As for Paolo Maldini's return, Kala added: 'It will certainly be positive. He's a top player and it's been disappointing to have been without him. I am sorry that he has had such a bad injury. His energy and charisma will be helpful. We are missing him as a top player but we don't have a problem in lacking leadership, Milan has players with plenty of personality.'


KALADZE: 'No problems in the dressing room'

MILANELLO - Kala then discussed the team's fitness: 'I don't think running is our problem, we just have to be more compact and more precise at the back in winning the ball. We have to play as a united side. Is there a problem in the dressing room? No, no between us at all. I have been here seven years, we have had worse seasons than this and I have never seen problems in the dressing room. It's been said that the problem is only in defence but the truth is another thing, the problem is how we defend. We can't just defend with four defenders. Milan are strong when everyone defends together.'


KALADZE: 'We are united as a club'

MILANELLO - Kaladze then spoke about the environment within Milanello: 'I don't think that some players want to leave. We are all professionals and we are just thinking about the season and upcoming games. We can talk about the future at the end of the season, now we just have to think about winning. We can't even be thinking about the World Cup, it's better to arrive at the World Cup playing well for your club.
The presence of club officials at Milanello: 'It's right and normal. We are all one club, e stick together in victory and in difficult moments. It's also a tough time for the coach but it's the same for all of us, we also feel it. I am pleased with where I am playing, it's my real role. I played in the centre of defence as a kid and Milan bought me as a central defender.'
