Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is lining up a £50 million bid for AC Milan striker Andrei Shevchenko.
A source close to Shevchenko told the News of the World: "Andrei will only leave Milan for one club and that is Chelsea.
"It is a move that really excites him."
Blues boss Mourinho tried to sign Shevchenko last summer but Milan were unwilling to sell their top marksman.
But he will be 30 in August and the Italians now reckon it is time to cash in on the player. -

Manchester United have been alerted to Rino Gattuso's unhappiness at AC Milan.
While the Italy international insists he's settled at the San Siro, it's emerged today that he is far from happy with the club's pursuit of Schalke 04 midfielder Christian Poulsen.
Gattuso and the Dane had a running battle this season in the Champions League and Milan's bid to land the Bundesliga star is seen as a slap in the face for the tough-tacking midfielder.
Gattuso has expressed an ambition to play in the Premiership and is much admired by United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
Along with Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo's position at Milan is also in doubt according to Italian press reports today.

AC Milan striker Andrei Shevchenko admits the club's pursuit of Real Madrid ace Ronaldo is a topic of conversation in the dressing room.
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has openly declared their interest in the Brazilian and Sheva said: "Ronaldo doesn't appear happy at Real Madrid.
"It's difficult to watch a champion like him experience moments like this."
The Brazil international has two years left on his £4 million-a-year contract at Real and it's understood Milan intermediaries have already been informed they would have to match his Real salary to land the player. -
