A Toxicity-t lehet hogy azért mondom jobbnak mert az olyan "systemes" szal az volt amit megszoktam tõlük. De az tény, hogy faszara sikerült az új album. A soldier side-tõl pl. még mindig kiráz a hideg annyira qrva jó lett.

Ha nagyon leegyszerûsítem a dolgot, azt mondom: Ugyanazokat a zenei vonásokat fedeztem fel az összes albumukban, csak az utóbbi két album legfõképpen abban másabb, hogy több lett a lágyabb rész. Ami nem baj, mert ezeknek nagyon jó a dallamuk (pl. Radio-Video, Old School H.), és azért a zúzások is megmaradtak szép számmal.

hát, én igazából meg nem mondom hogy melyik a legjobb album, pl a Toxicity és Hypnotize azért ekéggé más, mind2 nagyon jó.

Ízlések és pofonok, ugye... Szerintem meg nem jobb az új album, mint a Mezmerize, hanem ugyanolyan jó.
Ez a 2 legjobb albumuk. Hogy miért? Mert a régieknél volt pár töltelékszám, ezeknél viszont nincs.

egyébként a Hypnotize sztem is üt, nagyon jó album.

Biográfia
A System Of A Down igaz története...

1993 közepe:
Serj Tankian és Daron Malakian ugyanabban a los angeles-i stúdióban próbálnak, összeismerkednek.
1993 vége:
Serj, Daron és két másik zenész (a dobos Andranik "Andy" Khachaturian, azóta az Apex Theory énekese) megalakítja a Soil nevû bandát.
1994 eleje:
A Soil basszusgitárosa bemutatja Shavarsh "Shavo" Odadjiant a bandának. Rövid ideig Shavo menedzseli a zenekart (de még nem zenél velük).
1995 eleje:
Az eredeti basszusgitáros távozásával Shavo lesz a Soil állandó basszusgitárosa.
1995 eleje:
Daron Victims Of A Down címû verse alapján a többiek arra az elhatározásra jutnak, hogy a banda nevét Victims Of A Downra változtatják. Késõbb Serj System Of A Downra cseréli, mert a System szót valahogy erõsebbnek érzi.
1995 közepe:
John Dolmayan lesz a System Of A Down új dobosa.
1996:
Kiadják elsõ demo kazettájukat, a következõ számokkal: Blue, Frikk, Honey, Temper, Multiply.
1997 közepe:
A System Of A Down a hollywoodi Viper Roomban ad koncertet. A közönség sorai közt van az American Recordings producere, Rick Rubin (a Slayer, a Red Hot Chili Peppers és a Beastie Boys producere is õ), aki a mûsor után azzal megy oda a bandához, hogy teljesen le van nyûgözve és azonnali szerzõdést kínál nekik. Röviddel ezután a zenekar le is szerzõdik a kiadóhoz.
1997 vége:
Kiadják második demójukat, mely a Know, a War? és a Peephole korai felvételeit tartalmazza.

A System a Smokeout 2000 koncerten játszik a kanadai Sanbenardinoban, a fellépõ bandák között vannak pl.: Taproot, 311, Redman, Pennywise, Cypress Hill.

Az együttes kisebb jogi vitába keveredik Michael Bufferrel (Buffer úr kiáltja a jogvédett sorokat, miszerint "Let's get ready to rumble!" (kb.: "Álljatok készen a dörgésre/morajlásra/összecsapásra!") a bokszmérkozések elott). A Summer Sanitarium turnén a System fellépésének kezdetén Shavo kiáltotta mindig, hogy "Let's get ready to rumble!". Úgy tunt, Buffer úr ügyvédjeinek ez nem tetszett, és a Systemtol a jogvédett kifejezés használatának abbahagyását követelték, különben védjegy-használat szabálytalansági bírságot vetnek ki rájuk. 2000 vége:
A System Of A Down fellép a los angeles-i Palace-ban tartott Souls koncerten. A Souls egy jótékonysági koncert az 1915-ös örmény genocídium megismertetésére.
2000 vége:
Serj énekli a Starlit Eyes-t a Snot Strait Up címû lemezén; a számot a banda elhunyt énekese, James Lynn Strait írt nem sokkal a halála elõtt. Az album, melyen Corey Taylor és Jonathan Davis is vendégszerepel, Straitnek állít emléket (R.I.P.).
2001 eleje:
Számos koncertek és turnézások miatti halogatás után a System Of A Down második albumának (címe ekkor még mindig nincs) bejelentett megjelenési ideje: 2001. június 20.!
