It has now nearly impenetrable front armor even for Tier IX guns and is very hard to penetrate for Tier X guns (very small weakspot and lots of ricochets on lower hull). In my opinion, the IS-7 may become the best Tier X for random battles, since it's agile, has great gun and probably best frontal armor of all Tier X tanks. Only the sides and rear are weak. I played lots of battles with the IS-7, E100 and Maus on test server and the IS7 makes most fun.

Is there a way for you to test it? I assume it is easier to penetrate the IS7 from its sides on test-server, but I have no opportunity to test it correctly. Nevertheless, the have hugely buffed the IS-7 in 0.7.0. I wish they would do it similar to weak tanks from other nations (T-34, Tiger (H) and VK4502B for example).

Yes, even a Maus has a weaker front armor at close range than the new IS-7. If the sides are as bouncy as before, the IS-7 is really OP.
Let's see if they keep the values of the IS-7 front armor in test2 of 0.7.0. Being unable to penetrate the front without gold ammo is not comprehensible. But since it's a soviet tank; I doubt they will change/nerf it.

E-100: Can be penetrated at front regularly with T8-T10 guns. Only rocks with gold ammo.
T-30: Hull armor is a joke, can be penetrated by Tier 6 vehicles.
Maus: Front has big weakspot which can be penetrated at short distance with T8-T10 guns. Extremely slow and easy arty target.
IS-7: Nearly impenetrable front armor and decent speed with good gun. If side-armor is as bouncy as before, the IS-7 is OP.
If the side-armor of the IS-7 has been nerfed seriously in 0.7.0, then it is not OP, but (when talking about random battles) it will become the strongest Tier 10 tank.

Well, the IS-7 front bounced 19 out of 20 shots from the Loewe (234 pen) at about 150 m. I tested it on myself by targeting the lower hull and drivers view-port. Where shall I target in order to penetrate the front? It seems to be made of diamonds...
