Hi, I'm usually just a "watcher" of this board to get information about new releases but I think I have to tell you something, just to let you know.
The songs on this compilation are all AI generated music made with suno.ai.
You can hear it clearly as the vocals have got a certain "chorus" sound typical to suno.
I experiment with suno a lot myself, so I have recognized it very quickly.
Plus, suno only let's you export to 192 kbps MP3s. So, if somebody would download that compilation on
Bandcamp, looking for lossless quality, he will definitely be disappointed.
Nevertheless, it's exciting to see what AI can do but for all real hard working composers and producers
such as M-Flex, Clay, Sandor and all the other great talents in the New Gen scene, it must be a slap in the face,
when somebody can create songs like that within minutes and only with some prompts and lyrics generated by chatgpt.
I guess after all the AI covers with suno.ai and udio.com (another platfom to create songs), the floodgates have been opened.
But remember that real people cannot produce as fast as AI can and it might put the true artists under pressure because
AI can create exactly what the listeners demand.
