"Details in a nutshell:
- There’s a less than 48% chance that rFactor 2 will be released in 2010
- ISI will be adding more licensed content post-release
- The new AIW system allows multiple paths depending on car type and driver style
- rFactor 2 will be using a technology called “RealRoad”, a dynamic racing surface allowing rubbering in of tracks, marbles, drylines during rain races & more
- The title will be using DircetX9, the DirectX 7 & 8 options known from rFactor will be abandoned
- rFactor Light will return with rF2
- rFactor 2 will be having built-in mod tools, making modding easier (see screenshot of the new “rFTools” module below)
- rFactor 2 will have no built-in server for multiplayer races, the dedicated server method being the only option"
