Happy New Year from World Community Grid!
World Community Grid wants to thank you for your contribution in 2009. We had over 71,000 new volunteers join us and together contributed over 97,000 years of computer time. We completed the first phase of three of our projects: Discovering Dengue Drugs - Together, The Clean Energy Project, and Influenza Antiviral Drug Search. We also significantly advanced the research in our other research projects. This is a tremendous accomplishment that we could not have done without your help. THANK YOU!
Help us grow larger in 2010
We need your help to do even more in 2010. We will be launching the second phases of Discovering Dengue Drugs - Together, The Clean Energy Project, and Influenza Antiviral Drug Search, as well as starting new projects. We need your help to recruit more volunteers, so that we can advance these research projects faster.
In order to help you help us grow, we have significantly changed the World Community Grid Facebook application. This new version of the application on Facebook provides tools that help you spread the word about World Community Grid to all of your Facebook friends. It is now possible for you to have updates from World Community Grid automatically shared with your friends who use Facebook. You can also put a tab on your Facebook Profile that shows what you have contributed and shows the lastest news from World Community. New volunteers can even register and download the World Community Grid software without having to leave Facebook.
