    Buffing item drops across the board is a bait and switch tactic. Blizzard says "Hey look at these higher numbers you getting next patch!" And you think to yourself " Awesome i cant wait to farm and see how many more good items i get!"

    Mean while logic tells you that buffing everything isn't even a buff at all. Your chances of getting that great item are still the same. Now here is the real truth, since they buffed by a % across the board one number greatly outnumbers them all. The 24% ilvl 61 far out weighs the 16% and even more on the 8%. Now i wonder what drop % of ilvl 60 items are if ilvl 61 are 24%. It has to be at least 30 or better.
