AGP: A 32-bit channel operating at 66 MHz, strobing eight times per clock, delivering an effective 533 MHz resulting in a maximum data rate of 2 GB/s; 0.8 V signaling.

PCIe 1.1 transfers data at 250 MB/s per lane. With a maximum of 32 lanes, PCIe allows for a total combined transfer rate of 8 GB/s.

PCIe 2.0 doubles the bus standard's bandwidth from 2.5Gbps to 5Gbps, meaning a x32 connector can transfer data at up to near 16GBps.
