Liverpool make £4M bid for Parma's Bonera

Liverpool have made a bid for Parma defender Daniele Bonera.
Italian media reports state today that Liverpool have offered £4 million for the Italy international this morning.
Bonera has been a long-term target for Manchester United and Juventus and was expected to be cashed in by Parma before the sale of Alberto Gilardino to AC Milan this summer.
Lorenzo Sanz's takeover of the Serie A club has also lifted the pressure on the club's need to sell it's best stars.
