Chievo have completed the signing of Albanian striker Erjon Bogdani from Siena, who will be unveiled to the Press on Thursday.
The 29-year-old had already been paired with a move to the Flying Donkeys in the summer, but the transfer fell through.
Bogdani, who will join the Verona-based outfit on a permanent basis, landed in Italy in 1999 from Dynamo Zagreb, playing with Reggina for four seasons.
He then moved to Salernitana and to Hellas Verona in 2004, where he netted 17 goals in Serie B, before joining Siena in 2005, where he appeared 49 times and scored 13 goals.
Bogdani was also a target for Udinese, Torino and Roma last summer and was paired with Palermo in the past few weeks after Amauri’s injury.
