    Click Start → Run, type regedit and click OK.

    Find and delete the following registry keys:


    -HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ESET
    -HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ESET
    -HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Runegui

    Click Start → Control Panel → Folder Options → View tab → select Show hidden files and folders.

    Vista Users: click Start → Control Panel → Appearance and Personalizaton → Folder Options → View tab → Show hidden files and folders.

    Navigate to the C:\WINDOWS\inf folder and delete the INFCACHE.1 file.

    Restart the computer. Once the computer has restarted, delete the following folders:

    C:\ProgramFiles\ESET
    C:\Documents and Settings\AllUsers\Application Data\ESET
    C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\ESET

    Vista Users must delete the following folders:

    C:\Program Files\ESET
    C:\ProgramData\ESET
