I can talk for personal experience..it works! Get a program called hamachi(that simulates a LAN via internet)https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/list.asp.Give permission for it to connect if you have any firewall or antivirus program like bitdefender. Go to network connections, advanced options and put the hamachi adapter in first place so that pes assumes that this is your local area network.
Then go to http://www.planethamachi.com, and search the room you want, i should say that we should create one network for the forum.
When you get to a network in Hamachi, you will see that all users online have a ip (that's the ip you have to put in goal connector), try to chat with them and see who will host the game. PEACE!
