nadatomi #16158 Szuper lesz ez a 13. hét. :)
GPL a kombinált monzai pályán.
Week 13 is here. That means a final chance for iRacers from Rookie to Class B to climb to the next rung on the license ladder in time for all twelve weeks of Season 2, not to mention an opportunity for iRacers of all stripes and license levels to have some fun.
Road and oval racers can advance to the next license level in a couple of official series. The Street Stock Oval Series features 30 lap races at Charlotte (Legends), Lanier, Oxford Plains, South Boston and Thompson International Speedway. The Mazda Cup consists of 20 lap races in the Mazda MX-5 Cup at Charlotte (road), Lime Rock, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Okayama (short and long) and Summit Point Raceway (full course and Jefferson reverse).
Safety Ratings and iRatings are in effect in both of these official series, offering competitors the opportunity to boost their license ratings before promotions for Season 2 are finalized at week’s end. Likewise, rookies who have yet to complete the category-specific minimum participation requirements for graduation to a D license (two official races or four time trials in each category) can do so.
The week’s unofficial competition features the Carburetor Cup at Talladega Superspeedway with the Gen6 Chevy SS, Ford Fusion and Toyota Camry, along with six different 24 Hours of Fun series.
Once the new build is released, the 24 Hours of Fun 1 will see the new Chevy Silverado and Toyota Tundra on the Gateway Motorsports Park oval, while the 24 Hours of Fun 2 (aka the Jean-Pierre Sarti Memorial) will feature the Lotus 49 on Monza Combined (the historic road course coupled with the high-banked oval).
The 24 Hours of Fun 3 brings the VW Jetta TDi, SpecRacer Ford, Pontiac Solstice and Legends Ford to the tricky Monza Junior circuit, while the 24 Hours of Fun 4 has the Dallara DW12 at Iowa Speedway.
Tapping into Monza’s incomparable legacy, the 24 Hours of Fun 5 is a virtual Race of Two Worlds (hearkening to the races pitting Indianapolis type cars against Formula One cars at Monza in 1957-58) with a fixed set-up contest featuring the Dallara DW12 and the Lotus 79 going head-to-head, counterclockwise, on the high-banked oval.
Finally, the 24 Hours of Fun 6 sees the HPD-ARX 01c tackling the formidable challenges of The Mountain, aka Mount Panorama, Motor Racing Circuit Bathurst.
