Currently a lot of users of both Six-Steam, Steam-down and possibly users from other cracked Steam versions, are currently experiencing the following error message (or something similair to it):

Your Steam ticked has been expired
What you try doing, is exiting Steam (not close) and delete the Clientregistry.blob file and re-start Steam. If that fails, then don't worry. The problem is known to the developers and a solution is currently being worked upon, so you'll just have to be patient for the moment.
Some users however, have reported that they didn't get any problem by using the latest version of ppatcher. It's worth a try and you certainly don't lose anything by it . . .
