Italian politician: AC Milan going for Ronaldinho

Italian politician Roberto Maroni has revealed AC Milan are actively pursuing Barcelona superstar Ronaldinho.
Maroni, a die-hard Milan supporter, admitted yesterday at a 'Politics in Football' forum: "I have asked (Milan president Silvio) Berlusconi at what point the negotiations to bring to Milan Ronaldinho were at. I cannot reveal what he answered to me, but I am satisfied.
"It began this year, it could happen. I asked (Adriano) Galliani and Berlusconi to put their hand in their wallet.
"It would appeal to me to see Ronaldinho signed for the new year, but I'm also a supporter of the return of (Andriy) Shevchenko."
