AC Milan, Inter ready to battle for Real Madrid's Ronaldo
    tribalfootball.com - February 21, 2006

Both AC Milan and Inter are ready to move for unsettled Real Madrid striker Ronaldo.

The Brazilian's public attack on Real fans yesterday has lit up the European transfer market with a return to Milan now a very real possibility.

Inter patron Massimo Moratti has made no secret of his wish to bring Ronaldo back to the club. With Adriano failing to live up to expectations this season, Moratti is sure to try to bring Ronaldo back home in the summer if Real make him available.

However, Milan chiefs will also be in the market for the World Cup winner, with only Alberto Gilardino assured of his place in the club's attack next season.

Doubts persist over Andrei Shevchenko's future and with Milan preparing a major push into Asia, signing Ronaldo would take the club's profile throughout the Far East to a new level.
