    KALADZE: ‘Can’t make anymore mistakes’
    2/12/2006
REGGIO CALABRIA - Kakha Kaladze spoke after the game in Reggio Calabria: ‘I am happy about the victory. It was an important game and we played particularly well in the second half. We can’t make in more mistakes now because there aren’t many games left. Paredes goal seemed offside to me, but it wasn’t called so that means that it was good. We are working our way up the table, now we just have to wait and see what happens with Juve and Inter tonight.’

INZAGHI: ‘My scoring average is the fruit of hard work and patience’
    2/12/2006
REGGIO CALABRIA – A happy Filippo Inzaghi basking in his hat-trick against Reggina: ‘You always hope for a game like that. Above all, I am happy that I am doing well. I want to thank my team-mates for helping me today. My scoring average is the fruit of hard work and patience.’

    GALLIANI: ‘Milan had fun today’
    2/12/2006
REGGIO CALABRIA - Chief executive Adriano Galliani’s post-game analysis: ‘We saw a Milan side that had fun and had an attacking attitude, which is exactly what we all want. Pippo’s goalscoring average is extraordinary, but the whole team has great attacking potential. We have four great strikers and Amoroso will also do well.’ Then he spoke about the Inter-Juve match at the San Siro: ‘We’ll see what happens with tonight’s game, then we will see about the table.’

    SERGINHO: ‘Always with this spirit’
    2/12/2006
REGGIO CALABRIA - Serginho spoke on the Milan Channel: ‘We started out a little slowly. They were making things difficult for us, but then we worked out the kinks and created a lot of scoring opportunities. It is important to win every Sunday, not just today. We knew that we had a chance to shorten the distance from the top of the table, but we must always do what we did today.’ Sergio then turned to speaking about his fellow countrymen Dida and Cafu: ‘Nelson remains a great keeper. He went through a difficult period that could happen to anyone, the keeper’s errors are always the most visible. In regards to Marcos, I hope that he recovers quickly. He is a really important player and he could help us in the end of the season and in the World Cup.’

    GATTUSO: ‘Must continue like this’
    2/12/2006
REGGIO CALABRIA - Rino Gattuso’s comments at the end Milan’s 4-1 victory over Reggina: ‘We are happy about this win. Now we must continue on like this, we are coming from a complicated period but things are improving. We know that there’s still more that we can do and we are working on this. Juve can count on an important distance in the table, for the moment our objective is second place and our primary objective is to take to the field playing to win. Then, we’ll see what happens. We must maintain our focus and look ahead. Every once and a while we suffer too much, even today we lacked a bit of continuity. But, it’s not easy. The most important thing is winning because if we play well and don’t win, like happened in Rome against Lazio, we won’t go far. We thought and acted as a group today and we scored a lot. We are an ultra-attacking team, but this doesn’t surprise me. I am hoping for a draw between Inter and Juve, that way we can climb two points in the table.’

RUI COSTA: ‘We’ll see what happens’
    2/12/2006
REGGIO CALABRIA - Manuel Rui Costa spoke on the Milan Channel: ‘Milan have shown that they know how to play and they know how to win. We changed formations according to what was necessary for the game. We won and did well. We will continue to work hard. Whether it’s me or Kakà setting up the shots isn’t important, only that there is someone doing it.’ Then he commented about this evening’s game between Inter and Juventus: ‘We have done our part and now we’ll see what happens. We know that we have tried our hardest and that we can obtain more than we have up until this moment.’
