GATTUSO: ‘My first real goal’

MILAN - Rino Gattuso, author of the first goal against Palermo, expressed his joy on the Milan Channel: ‘I am happy for the goal and because I was able to run and celebrate under the fans. I have been waiting for this moment for seven years. My first goal at the San Siro was kind of a gift, this one was a real goal. The fans showed me their usual affection. It is always emotional when they dedicate a song to me. Pippo? He has gone through a tough time, risking never playing soccer again, he deserves this joy.’ On Milan’s game, Rino added: ‘Today we faced a tough team. It was not easy for us, we conquered an important success. There was a moment in the second half when I lost all hope, we were fighting and were not able to make anything happen despite all the opportunities created. Because of this I am very happy above all for the victory.’
