SEEDORF: 'We did what we had to do'
    9/25/2005
PADOVA - Clarence Seedorf stated to Milan Channel: 'I think it was a tough match. They were aggressive and well organised. We had to be patient, playing our game at our own pace. We controlled the ball's circulation and possession. After Sheva's goal we had more chances to strike with our fastbreak. We wrapped it up when Gilardino scored the second goal. They did have a great chance, but Stam saved our goal. We won a game that we were supposed to win, period. I think we showed that we can play the right way, without pressure and at our own pace'.
