Gianni Rivera says AC Milan blundered in the summer market and are now paying for it.

The Milan hero said: "They underestimated the difficulties they encountered in the second half of last season.
"As a result, the link between departments has broken.
"Milan got things wrong on the market," he added. "It would have been wiser to strengthen the defence, instead of buying attackers, because the years pass for everyone.
"The problem is that Milan attributed a lack of luck to their slump towards the end of last season, whereas the problem was something else."
