Underfire AC Milan defender Jaap Stam admits he is eyeing a return to PSV Eindhoven.

The Dutchman has been slated in the local press over his poor start to the season and lamented: "Whenever something goes wrong, I'm the one who gets blamed.
"I don't know why that is. I feel in good shape and know I must improve, but I am being targeted by the critics. I'm aware of this."
On a mooted return to PSV, Stam added: "There has been no direct contact, but I am aware of the reports in Holland.
"I have always said that when my contract ends here I will return to my home club in Holland and that is PSV.
"I still have a contract here, but in football you can't take anything for granted. We know this from what happened in Istanbul."
