KAKA': 'The attitude was just right'

MILAN - Kakà, author of the goal that closed the match, commented on his performance and that of the squad: ‘The game went well. The attitude was just right. We must keep this attitude for the next match, so that the Champions League starts like this as well. The team was very focused and did well in the first half. We had the usual problems with set pieces, but we will resolve those. On my goal Sheva made a move to free me up and I was able to put it in with the left. It was an important goal. I am most pleased when I make assists because that is my job on the field, but scoring is always special for a player. In these two years I have learned a lot, the third will be even better still because I will be able to put it all together. A message for Gilardino? I wouldn’t say anything to him, but I would tell those that have doubts in Gilardino to stay calm, the goal will arrive.’
