This is really getting worse.
I was in the servers just after the update and the dark elf city was empty. Something very strange for the time I was in and for the city I was at.
This is really bad and if NCsoft wants to have clients that will be paying they better get down on it and fix this kind of problems.
As a future customer I demand to get fixed and I don’t care if the problem is on the auth/update/game server or network or whatever else it could be. I will be paying to playing not paying to know what’s wrong with Lineage2.
Too many people trying to login is not an excuse for me. Will it be an excuse if too many people where trying to make payments with paypal and didn’t work? Of course not.
If the game is going to be p2p in 1 month or so then they better fix it in the next couple of hours. People have 1 maybe 2 months to play the game test the game and decide if they are going to be paying for it. Two many login issues have been raised up since the first week. I am sure the engineers and the developers are working on it but apparently it took them too much time and now this thread implying that it has been fixed which has not.
People/Gamers/Future Customers have started getting really frustrated with this.
P.S.
That Server Status Block is totally wrong. It shouldn’t be displaying the actual game server status because I think game servers are always fine. It should have been displaying the Update and Authentication Server status.
I actually payed for the prelude allready, but I can imagine people getting stressed about this, when is the time for actually TESTING this game coming? if this is their experience in the game so far, hell I wouldn't have bought it.
I don't bitch about problems when it's been down for an hour or so, it's beta, I realize that (even though I think open beta should be enough to require that the game is accessable after 2 or more hours of trying to get in), but the time this has been going on is ridiculous and what really frustrates people is that WHERE ARE THE OFFICIALS? working on the problem? pff.. really? Well take a five freaking minute break to let all the thousands of people know what is going on.
NCSoft needs a lecture from other companies on how you communicate with your players.
