Ok, I tried out german version of clone (presumably the cracked one works as well). Version 1.0 works as per nfo. Version 1.1 patch applies fine, but to run it you need DT 3.47, and virtual CD hide 1.0.0.4 (may need to enable w2k compatability on game .exe)
Now for the german to english conversion info (but all of the guides so far I've seen have things wrong with thier instructions like wrong folders or filenames or incomplete)
What I did was make a backup copy of the english install files, then uninstalled that, and then installed german.
Basic cliff note instructions:
1) Replace radio(stream) folder with english version (keep RADIO_NOISE.mp3 & RADIO_NOISE_15.mp3 from german version, may not be required, but I did it to be safe)
2) Replace video folder with english version (move movies file out of Eng subfolder, up one folder to \Darkstar One\video\ )
3) Copy english global.res file to german install folder \Darkstar One\strings\original
Detailed instructions
1)
Rename folder from german installed version:
\Darkstar One\sound\radio(stream)
Copy folder from english installed location:
\Darkstar One\voice\ENG\radio(stream)
To german installed location:
\Darkstar One\sound\radio(stream)
Also copy RADIO_NOISE.mp3 & RADIO_NOISE_15.mp3
from renamed german installed location to new english copy, they are located in:
\Darkstar One\sound\radio(stream)\grp_VOICE\
2)
Delete or rename German video folder
\Darkstar One\video
Copy the english video folder from english installed location to german installed location
\Darkstar One\video
Move all video files from:
video\Movies\Eng
Up one folder to:
video\Movies\
Delete the now empty folder:
video\Movies\Eng
3)
Now for the last part.
Make a folder called:
\Darkstar One\strings
Now make a folder called
\Darkstar One\strings\original
Into that folder, copy the global.res file from english installed location of:
\Darkstar One\strings\ENG
You are done!

Nekem az a problémám, hogy mikor megkapom azt a feladatot az elsõ artifact megszerzése után, hogy menjek a másik rendszerbe a fater gyilkosa után, nem tudok hyper jumpolni a másik rendszer bolygójára. Kiválasztom a térképen de ha kattintani akarok jobb oldalt a gombra, az szürke és azt írja hogy 4 unit-nyira nem lehet nagy objektum. Pedig még csillagpor sincs a közelben.
Ez is a crack hibája lehet? Ötlet?
