I`m going to give out my 2nd WE8LWE reviews + impressions.
How can I start..I really don`t know what to say..
The passing is TOO DAMN fast and its REALLY, REALY accurate.. this is not so realistic. The passing is EVEN faster when you do quick passes on the ground.. the ball pass feels like playing SWOS.
The ball feels heavy and it`s alright but the passing is just too damn fast, period.. my eyes start to hurt from following the ball..
And if you really wanna get mad..try playing with red arrows.. (strategy)..even though I put my arrows on RANDOM ?? 99% of the time I get them red..so if I play with the worst club team in the game the speed they will have and the technique is like playing with Arsenal..
Back to arrows again.. if you put them on RANDOM and you get them as red.. the gameplay will become SUPERFAST and the passing will become DODGE VIPER R-T10 V12, 850 horsepower. What the hell is the matter with Konami..even FIFA 05 doesn`t have this garbage.
If you really want to enjoy the gameplay speed + the passing speed you have to lower down your strategy arrows and make your team weak..
I`d like to publicly apologise to Zlatan..after going after him for the WE8LWE shooting..
The shooting is simply HIDEOUS.. again the speed issue - TOO DAMN FAST AND POWERFULL.. If you have a good striker..and come close to the goal most likely you`ll rip the net apart with that powerfull shot...it`s really UNREALISTIC.. and the AI is the same way..when they come near your goal and attempt to score.. I swear sometimes I don`t even see the ball flying I just see it in the net.. thats how POWERFUL the shots are..hell WE7IJ is a fruit cake compared to WE8LWE shooting..
At the enterance players walk TOO DAMN SLOW.. even in SLOW MOTION.. what`s up with that ?? why don`t they just walk at normal walking method.. I feel like they don`t wanna come on the pitch..
I still get calls for hideous tackles...I don`t even touch my oponent and the ref blows out the whistle awarding the COM a foul.
Other than that...everything seems fine..the gameplay is really good, what makes it ugly is the gameplay speed and the passing speed.. you have alot more freedom.. on the pitch and you don`t have many defenders up your neck all the time...
I am happy with this game but there was more room for my happyness..
I`m seriously starting to dislike Konami and put them in the same league with EA. They better come up with something, some better ideas in the next few years WE9, and any other versions on PS3. I`m slowly getting tired of the same stuff.. before I used to be happy playing WE..now to be honest..I can go for weeks without even touching my PS2... which tells me the game is not that SPECIAL. If it was I`d be playing it all day and night..
I`ll be playing WE8LWE and hopefuly its gonna get much better with patches..but I`m aiming for NBA 2K5.. I`m seriously thinking to give Konami a break..
I`m working very hard for my money, and WE8LWE is not worth $64.00.. PERIOD.
This impressions will stay as they are until or if I change my mind..which I doubt it will .. final score 7.9 out of 10." -
