Stories of the Arsenal striker’s return to Spain have been circulating in the media all summer but there has been precious little substance to the reports. Arsène Wenger ruled out Reyes’ departure at the weekend so he would have been somewhat surprised to see the link re-established in Tuesday morning’s newspapers.
