"Gearbox has not begun work on Borderlands 3, choosing instead to continue focusing on downloadable content for Borderlands 2. Earlier this week, comments from Borderlands 2 writer Anthony Burch led some people to think that a sequel had already started production, but Gearbox co-founder Randy Pitchford now says this isn’t the case."
