Hello testers! We are excited to announce the deployment of the new build of the game! Beginning today (Friday, September 23, 2011), we will start sending invites to groups of game testers. New invites will be sent at random and in waves, so please don’t be alarmed if you do not get an invite today. All testers should receive their new invites by next Friday, September 30.

If you have not yet uninstalled the old launcher (Sith and Jedi background), please use the instructions below to remove your old build:

1. Click on the Start bar and open up your “Control Panel”.
2. Under “Programs” select “Uninstall a Program” (Windows 7) or “Add or Remove Programs” (Windows XP).
3. Select “Star Wars – The Old Republic”.
4. Right Click on the title and select “Uninstall” (Windows 7) or “Remove” (Windows XP).
5. Follow all the uninstall steps to remove the game from the PC.

Note: If you did not see an entry for Star Wars – The Old Republic in your program list, please try the following…
1. Click on the Start bar and open up Computer.
2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\BioWare\
3. Locate the “Uninstall Star Wars – The Old Republic.exe” file and launch it.
4. Follow all the uninstall steps to remove the game from the PC.

Invites will include a link to download the new launcher (starfield background) and client. If you have the new launcher, but you have not yet received your invite, you will not be able to install the game client. Any updates received are to the launcher only. You will not have access to log in and install the game until your invite arrives and you accept.

If you experience any issues, please send an email to [email protected] for assistance. Watch this thread for any updates and announcements.

We know that everyone is excited to get back to testing, so we appreciate your enthusiastic participation and feedback about the new build! Have fun out there, and happy testing!

Combined notation
When you see a combination of modifiers (™, quotes, and capitalization) you must consider the impact of all modifiers on the base measurement. The more modifiers, the larger the expansion of time from the base measurement.
