Valerie Dore-ként én Dora Carofiglora és az őáltala megszemélyesített többtucatnyi előadó hangjára és zenéire gondoltam és így az ő hangját és számos dalait hallgatva szerintem ez egyáltalán nem túlzás! A zenei stílusok,amikben ő szerepelt (mondjuk úgy féltucatnyi) nyilván nem összehasonlítási alap azokkal, melyeket mariah vagy whitney képviselt, de a hangja minőségében és terjedelmében, énektudásában és előadásmódjában igencsak megállja helyét a másik 2 nagy név mellett. Nyilván ő nem kapott annyi publicitást és szponzorációt,mert nem voltak olyan pénzes producerei és dalírói,akik elvihették volna az igazi világhírig. -

...de mégegy gondolatra visszatérve a témához,az érthetőség kedvéért, 85-86-ig Dora Carofiglio volt Valerie Dore, ezután főleg a producerek váltása miatt szépen átálltak személyben és hangban is Monica Stucchi-ra.A Get Closer című számot még ők együtt énekelték el, aztán Carofiglo kivált Valeri Dore név alól és onannatól már Stucchi vitte tovább azt a "vérvonalat"......de egyébként mindkét csajnak jó a hangja. -

....nos az én ismereteim szerint ez nem így van, pontosabban kicsit félreértésre adhatnak okot egyes netes infók.
Dora Carofiglio az eredeti Valerie Dore volt, nem csak hangjában, hanem személyében is. Ugye pl. a The Night első megjelenése 1983 körüli volt és fogjuk rá, a ZYX dédelgette. Később, 1986-tól a Valeri Dore nevet használta, átvette, és akár ezután mondjuk akár playback-elete is a színpadokon Dora Carofiglio "hangján" az a bizonyos Monica Stucchi nevű hölgy és Simona Zanini nevű másik vokálos is a The Legend című albumon(-tól folytatólagosan) az EMI kiadásaiban. Ez utóbbi csaj a Radiorama-ban és a Doctor's Cat-ben is vokálozott.

(kissé homályos a mondat eleje) A "Novecento"-ban volt vokalista amelynek köszönhetőek a... slágerek, de a karrierje nagyon komplex, külömböző neveken "futott", ilyen pl. a Valerie Dore (és a Monica Stucchi is feltételezem) mely néven kiadta a... slágereket.

Tutti la ricorderanno come vocalist della band"NOVECENTO"quando cantava, Movin'on;excessive love......ma la sua carriera è ben più complessa e articolata,cantando sotto vari pseudomini,come ad esempio VALERIE DORE,sotto questo pseudomino e il volto di Monica Stucchi cantò: The night; Get closer;it's so easy. Le successive Lancelot;King arthur furono invece interpretate da Simona Zanini (già corista di Martinelli).

Még egy kicsit bele is szerettem a hangján keresztül :-)
Azóta is nagyon szeretem hallgatni.
A The Night(persze sok más számát is szeretem) eredeti hangzásban ma is megállja a helyét, vétek mindig átdolgozni.
