Red side lost 5 aircraft today 4xSu-30 and 1xSu-27 on my second flight with Otto. We had a DCA, but when we landed it said mission failed! We killed 5 enemy aircraft and we failed, I wonder if it's cause we didn't completely follow the steerpoints?
My first flight I wanted to take out some SAMS on the east coast and a convoy near bullseye, but got jumped on by a few Su-30/F-16's and Mig-29S. The Su-30 shot at me first. did a Spilt-S, during that my jet didn't like it and I had a few system failures. I turned back in after I dodged the 2 missiles fired at me and called AWACS for nears threat. They told me 30 miles and I start looking but can't find anything. Then AWACS says Mig-29's are 30nm and I turn and search for them. At 25 miles I still can't pick anything up and I try to switch to TWS and nothing happens. I Spilt-S again cause by this time they are within 20nm, I get low and kick in the burner. They get within 10 miles behind me and I'm starting to get worried cause I'm still over 80nm from base. I call AWACS for some help, but like always nothing is close by.....so they say. Eventually the 29's slow down and turn back, which was good cause I'm down to 1100lbs and 80nm from base. I climb up to 29k, throttle back and land with about 250lbs of fuel. Never had a chance to fire my 88's or drop my 97's. I did fire at a jet at angles 17 within 20nm from me, but it missed. I'm sure that was a human flown F-16, AWACS didn't give me a aircraft type when I ask to declare.

Cali, the Red side had a 3 ship up (Me, Axe, Wowzer). We shot down at least one human, which I think was Otton, while we were doing interdiction. Remember, Red humans appear as Su-30s.
